Jennifer was launching a new business and came to us with the site already designed. She needed it built to match those designs closely and to hold up as real photos and copy went in.
The site also had to work for more than one kind of client. Outdoor portrait sessions were ready to sell on day one, while shelter photography and commercial work were still taking shape. Those services needed a real place on the site now without making the studio look unfinished, and they had to be easy to switch on later.
Since Jennifer runs the business on her own, she also needed to update packages, galleries, reviews and event news herself without calling a developer each time.

Outdoor portrait sessions were ready to sell at launch. Shelter sponsorships and commercial product photography weren’t, but Jennifer wanted visitors to see where the studio is headed.
Each service has its own card on the homepage, and the two upcoming ones are marked “coming soon.” When she’s ready to launch either one, it’s a content update.

Packages, portfolio galleries, client reviews, FAQs and sponsors each have their own simple form in the admin. Jennifer adds a new package or gallery by filling in a few fields, and the site takes care of the layout.
A site-wide announcement bar lets her promote upcoming events, like the free pop-up mini sessions she runs at local pet events.

Most of the visual decisions were Jennifer’s. We built from her designs and worked through the details together as real photos and copy replaced the placeholders.
We also built and launched a custom client portal where pet owners could log in, view their session photos and pick favorites. As the business took shape, we moved booking and gallery delivery to Pixieset. It has a long track record with photographers and lets clients order prints right from their gallery, which a custom portal would have taken a lot more work to match. Every booking link on the site now goes straight to her Pixieset booking page.
FurFur Pet Studio launched in October 2026. Outdoor sessions and pop-up minis are live and bookable, and the site is ready for shelter and commercial work whenever Jennifer launches them. We continue to maintain the site.
